Shame on you!
M.B.Conant 05092012
“Just look what you have done”
“You should be ashamed of yourself!”
We have all heard these words as we grew up.
Our well-intended parents have said things to us, out of being told the same from their parents.
The attempt was to inform you that what you were doing (or not doing) was wrong,
as far as their upbringing and beliefs determined.
Are you doing something you should not be doing?
Are you not doing something you should?
You are old enough to know the difference, BUT,
we are also old enough to know that we do not have to be ashamed into a state of
unreasonable de-meriting of ourselves.
We are all part of the universe that understands that all are part of the polar opposites that,
we daily, have to choose the things that fit our beliefs.
When we are outside of those things that we believe are“right” we are not “bad people”,
we are just caught in the cycles of our polar conditions.
We are not weak, we are not bad, and we are not less.
Universal transmutation of energy tells us that we can alter our choices and when it is for the good of the universe, and we should.
The laws of the universe also tells us that our choices are often not our own,
or not done out of disrespect for universal laws.
We are all just learning that we have choices and we are going to make mistakes.
Forgive yourself this day for your transgressions both of late and of your past.
Allow yourself the mistakes and learn to place yourself in the paths of the uplifting light of universal
understanding.
This is the testing grounds and without errors we learn nothing.

Shush!

“Stop that! “I” am doing something important”.
It does not mean that what I am doing or talking about is not important.
It does mean that what is important to them at the moment deserves the same attention
as what is important to me.
My beliefs of” importants” are just as important, but they need to have their needs of important’s
deserved too.
This should not be a put down but should be an attention to respect others important matters too.
Give credence to other needs and be willing to let others have their needs without putting your needs
down.
So! Shush!
Is only a notice to respect the other and not a put down of what is important to you!

"IT"
I have found myself pointing a finger towards something and saying:
"There "IT" is!
The reason or the cause of my misery."
When it was just another way I was allowing myself to feel miserable.
Yes! "IT" touched off my misery, but, I chose, misery.
If “IT” hung around, I chose to stay miserable.
I allowed misery in.
I choose to focus on misery.
I eventually choose to release that misery.
You too, can release the misery and move to a higher light,
back to a closer connection to spirit.
Vigilance to self-observation without judgment is key.
I could have chosen:
Not to allow "IT" to cause the misery at all.
To see "IT" as the catalyst, and not the misery.
Saying that you would not be miserable if,
"IT" had not happened in the first place.
Is like exchanging balloons for sandbags.
You are tying yourself to the ground. To "IT".
You are giving focus to "IT" and defending "IT" as the source of the problem.
The source is always you.
You chose to let "IT" bother you.
"IT" might not make things better but you chose to believe "IT" made things worse.
Conditions are what they are!
Emotions are still YOUR choice.
Rule your emotions and you can change your conditions.
Be ruled buy your conditions and you change nothing.
I could have removed my focus from "IT",
and reached for "better feeling" thoughts.
And I did!
That made all the difference.
Dispense the shadows "IT" casts, by shining the light of your higher self upon it.
Choose not to point the finger at "IT" at all.
Let "IT" go.
Move on.
Move into the light.

It’s not giving up, it’s letting go.

When you let go of something, you are not giving up on it,
you are allowing it to become a part of you,
what you have attempted, what you have worked for, but not what you set your life on.
In order to give up on something you are still holding on to the idea,
that you will have it no matter what.
You are becoming focused on that one thing,
and at the same time telling yourself that you are not worthy of it
and you should no longer try to obtain it.
This is not the same as letting go, for when you let go,
you are allowing the universe to decide if it will come to you from,
sources other than your own efforts.
Some times all the efforts you can put forth,
are in opposition to the obtaining of it.
Some times letting go of something for now,
is placing it in “God’s hands” (giving it to the universal forces),
and forgiving yourself for focusing on it as much as you have.
You are not giving up, you are regrouping your efforts on other things,
and allowing the universe to do what it should.
You will always be allowed to think about what the object of your desire was,
you can allow yourself to want what is not in your power to have,
and if the universe moves to see that you should have it,
It Will Come.

HELLO?
M.B.Conant 08232011
We build massive telecommunication systems. Develop the internet. Create social networking systems and still we often feel as disconnected as ever in our history.
Why is this?
How often do you sit down with someone and have a good old fashion face to face conversation at length about anything?
When you pass your neighbor do you actually take the time to look at them and say hello?
Are lunchtime conversations about anything other than work, the weather, or the food?
When was the last time you sent someone a letter? You know! Actual paper and a stamp or an email (not text) longer than one paragraph.
When was the last time you read anything? Read an email that was longer than one paragraph, actually read it?
When was the last time you took the time to tell someone how much you appreciate what they do or what they did?
When was the last time you filled out the “please let us know how were doing” , “place comments here”, area of any communication?
We have become so displaced by our connectedness that we do not even notice.
As Gandhi said. “Be the change you want to see”.
It is up to you to start communicating with others.
Tell them how you feel, tell them what you think, ask them for their opinion,
Offer then your suggestions.
But most of all…
It is up to you to start the conversations you long for.
