Are you going to feel cheated?

As you find yourself getting older are you beginning to think about;
What you do not have / what you plan to have done?
Are you wondering why things are not coming to you,
have not come to you by now,
or thinking that time will soon be too short for the things to happen?
Do the things you want to do or have seem to be no longer possible as your time on earth seems to be getting shorter?
Are you truly thinking that all you have done has left you with little or nothing to show for your energies?
Feeling cheated?
Feelings like your efforts have or will soon be in vein?
Let’s ask a few questions here.
What have you been doing while awaiting the “good things” that you planned to come your way?
Waited?
Strived?
Worked diligently on attaining?
Pursued, chased after, and intently studied all the steps?
What in your life have you put aside, dismissed, disregarded, or denied?
Did you spend any time enjoying the road you were on?
Did you find happiness in the small steps toward your goals?
Did you look at any other thing that might be just as good?
just as rewarding?
just as pleasurable?
Your life is forever in flux.
Your life is not a one shot deal.
This life is!
Your journey does not stop when you leave this plain of existence.
And those who have the most toys when they die;
Loose all the toys and move on to find out what is truly important.
Did you love enough?
Did you laugh enough?
Did you enjoy each and every day?
There is nothing wrong in pursuing dreams and ambitions.
There is something very wrong when your days are not full and happy.
There is something very wrong when you are too focused on your ambitions,
that you forget to enjoy what you already have.
As you are getting older you should become wiser too.
Reach for the goals.
Grab for the brass ring.
But never, ever, loose site of why you are here to begin with.
Enjoy,
be fascinated by the days.
Live, Love, Laugh!
Our time here is short enough. We can come again!
But please remember to enjoy your time, this and every time you are here.
