Tis’ the season of Michaelmas:
Part1

We have all been invited to the kingdom of heaven.
Yes! All of us, saints and sinners alike.
A feast has been set before us and we all have been asked to attend.
The story the wedding feast in the Christian bible has told us this story.
Invitations have been sent out.
In the bible story the first invitations were sent to those who are the king’s friends and associates.
All the invitations were disregarded.
A message was again sent to say that preparations were set and all were to attend.
All were either disregarded or met with violence upon the messengers.
The wise king did not reap wrath upon those that were evil in there reply.
No! He chose to open the invitation to all that would pass by inside and outside the kingdom.
The castle was full of all sorts of people.
One person did not come dressed for the occasion and was met with a question.
“Why?”
This person could not offer a reply and was thrown out to the world to deal with his own conscience.
The message is “The kingdom of heaven is open to you, come, join in the feast”
When we disregard the message we are leaving ourselves outside of the offering of love that is given to us.
When we show violence toward the message we leave ourselves outside of the love of the Spirit.
We show violence to ourselves placing ourselves outside, naked to the violent world of materialism.
When we enter the kingdom, and we do not not show ourselves in a manner respectful of the offering
we are open to the eye of our god, to questions of respect and intention
.
When we do not dress ourselves in the manner of acceptance to the offer of his love
we are open to recourse for lack of manners.
If we are thrown out, we will have to deal with the world as it is.
Until we learn through the pain of this world’s harsh material reality,
we will not be offered a new invitation.
The drudge and torment of life, in a spirit void world is where we will learn this lesson.
Once we open ourselves to receive the invitation, to treat it as a gift, and to go forth respectfully
we can then re-enter the kingdom and enjoy the feast that is set before us.
We have all turned down the invitation.
Some have chosen to vanquish the messenger.
But we all can bring ourselves to inner peace and await the messenger to come again.
This is the love of god, the spirit of the universe, given to us.
The doors to the feast of heaven are open.
Be at peace with yourself, listen for the message, respect the calling,
and enter with a grateful heart, and gracious manner.
Namaste”
