Don’t put it away.

Christmas day has come and past.
Family gatherings are over.
The work week has begun.
Time to finish off the turkey, the roast, the ham, the pies, the cookies and all.
Presents are opened and under the tree is no longer full.
Yes! Christmas day has passed, but the season is still here.
Soon it will be New Years.
This is not the time to put away the “reason for the Season”,
this should be just the beginning of the reason.
We have been blessed with the “Love of God”,
this it the time to start to remember why we celebrate.
It is time to keep the holiday alive.
The ‘love of God”, blessings of family, the joy of giving, the truth of love eternal, THIS,
is what we should now continue and to celebrate, THIS,
is the reason we come together and share warmth and affection with family,
friends and our neighbors.
The joy of Christmas is not something to put away with the trimmings, and the decorations,
it is the very reason that we have this day,
it is what we should remember to do each and every day of our lives,
it is what we should, focus our thoughts upon every day.
Love in all its many facets, is the reason for the season.
When we keep Christmas in our hearts,
we are opening up the world to the splendor that is given to us as the gift of God.
One does not have to be a Christian to understand that we build our world by sharing our love.
All positive energies are sent forth and reverberate back to us in the forms of love eternal.
Let us not put away our love along with the decorations,
but let us celebrate Christmas, every day,
with our thoughts and our actions, outward as well as inward.
In this we will see the world as it was meant to be, alive and beautiful.
We will see our own love return to us in the forms of love amplified.
We will ourselves become stronger,
and more beautiful as the spirit is again sent out with our thoughts and actions of love.
We will be radiant in our love as we give and receive this love.
Keep the day alive, live each day in the love of the season.
Bless you all this holiday season!
Keep it alive in your hearts!
